柳禅，原名:柳谋源，字:草堂春，号:紫云道人，57 年生于福建晋江，78 年因车祸致残辍学于南京大学，80 年于地方国营陶瓷厂从事陶瓷画，83 年流于商海客居長安。缘干佛教，深索命理，《易》学，得全真道熏陶继而研习书法:通四体，自创《柳氏中篆》自成一家。90 后转功国画:通山水，人物，花鸟，特写梅花曾被誉为天下第一梅，其山水画创作集古往今來历代宗师笔墨之大乘开创《无常道》独立画派。主张书画艺术人性化:以儒表，佛心，道骨，天魂，此八字四合评判艺术创新境界。2005 年出版《柳禅书画备忘录》，2006年任陝西省联合助残基金会理事长，2011 年于北京创建《中国绿色画院》任院长。艺术职称:国家一级美术师，中国文联学术委委。2018年共和国文旅部授予《中国当代最具影响力艺术家》，2020 年重组入库:中国书协，中国美协两协会员。2022 年文旅部授予《一代艺术大师》称号。2023 年由中国中央电视台全国两会重点推荐艺术家，同时特聘为 CCTV《华厦之声》艺术顾问，同年中央美术学院诚聘为研究生院教授，博士生导师，清华美院大学生就业导师。于此受业界誉为:书画家，人民艺术家，艺术评论家，哲学家，思想家，诗人，学者。
Liu Chan, formerly known as Liu Mouyuan, with the courtesy name Caotangchun and the courtesy name Ziyun Daoren, was born in Jinjiang, Fujian in 57. He dropped out of Nanjing University in 78 due to a car accident and was disabled. He worked as a ceramic painter in a local state-owned ceramic factory in 80 years and lived in Chang'an as a guest in the commercial sea in 83 years. Through practicing Buddhism, delving deeply into the principles of destiny, and studying the Book of Changes,I gained the influence of Quanzhen Taoism and then studied calligraphy. I became proficient in the Four Body Script and created the Liu Family's Chinese Seal Script, forming my own family. Post-90s transition to Chinese painting: connecting mountains and rivers, characters, flowers and birds, close-up of plum blossoms, once known as the number one plum in the world.His landscape painting creation combines the Mahayana style of ancient and modern masters to create the independent painting school of "The Way of impermanence". Advocating the humanization of calligraphy and painting art: judging the artistic innovation realm through the combination of Confucianism, Buddha's heart, Dao bones, and heavenly soul. In 2005, he published a memorandum on Liu Chan's calligraphy and painting. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chairman of theShaanxi Provincial United Foundation for Disabled Persons. In 2011, he founded the China Green Painting Academy in Beijing and served as the President. Artistic title: National first-class artist, Academic Committee of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In 2018, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of China awarded the title of "Most Influential Artist of Contemporary China". In 2020, it was reorganized and included as a member of the China Calligraphy Association and the China Artists Association. In 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism awarded the title of "One Generation Art Master". In 2023, artists were highly recommended by China Central Television during the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. At the same time, they were specially hired as art consultants for CCTV's "Voice of Huaxia". In the same year, the Central Academy of Fine Arts invited them as professors, doctoral supervisors, and employment supervisors for college students at Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts. Renowned in the industry as a calligrapher and painter, people's artist,art critic, philosopher, thinker, poet, and scholar.
